Had to deal with a canceled train leaving Milan. Ran with all our crap to get on an overcrowded train. Missed our connection. Got on a train with a different railway and got to Venice at almost midnight. Then got juiced for 50 euros for a 10 minute water taxi to our hotel which fortunately was lovely. Finally got to sleep in a little and explored Venice. Max was hot to train some more pigeons so he kept a bunch of bread from lunch.
